Yonglu YI | Chinese Artist Collection

Yonglu YI, a professional oil painter born in 1973 in Cangnan, Zhejiang, and now based in Xiamen, Fujian, is a member of both the Fujian Artists Association and the Fujian Oil Painting Society. He furthered his studies at the prestigious China Academy of Art in 2006.

Specializing in the regional landscapes and culture of the Minnan coastal areas and the Fujian Tulou settlements, YI masterfully blends the language of realist oil painting with the subtlety of Eastern aesthetics. His works have been frequently selected for major exhibitions organized by the China Artists Association and the Fujian Artists Association.
